Nach meinen Geschäftstagen in Ecuador war das Mantaraya Lodge der perfekte Feierabend. Das Frühstück mit frischem Maracujasaft, warmen Bolones und hausgemachter Marmelade war mein täglicher Start. Zum Abendessen gab’s leckeren Fisch und Ceviche. Zum Strand und zur Promenade läuft man in wenigen Minuten, auch Ausflüge zur Isla de la Plata starten bequem in der Nähe. Sehr entspannt!
Après une année à courir partout, ce lodge à Puerto López nous a remis sur pause. Les petits-déjeuners étaient notre rendez-vous préféré : fruits frais, œufs préparés à la minute, pain encore tiède et jus de maracuyá que les enfants ont surnommé « le jus qui pique ». On a aussi très bien mangé le soir, avec un ceviche délicat et du poisson du jour. La piscine, entourée de transats et de hamacs, a occupé les enfants pendant que nous récupérions enfin. Mention spéciale au coin ombragé, parfait pour un café et une sieste.
