We loved how quiet Monterrico Polo Aparts felt—almost suspiciously quiet for Lima! Our apartment at 703 El Polo was comfortable, and we slept with the windows open without hearing much beyond a distant bird. The pool was a real treat after sightseeing, with plenty of loungers and a shaded common area where we read and argued cheerfully over who made the better pisco sour. A small lemon tree beside the terrace was a lovely touch. Peaceful, relaxed, and wonderfully unhurried—just what these two retired travelers needed.
