Nach unseren Tour-Tagen bei Tangol war das Sonesta in Guayaquil ein richtig schöner Rückzugsort. Das Frühstück überraschte uns mit frischen Bolón de verde, tropischen Früchten und einer Eierstation; der Kaffee war kräftig. Besonders angenehm: die ruhige Poolterrasse mit gepolsterten Liegen und schattigen Palmen. In den großzügigen Aufenthaltsbereichen konnten wir abends entspannt zusammensitzen.
Après une année de boulot, nous avons posé nos valises au Sonesta Guayaquil pour souffler, et pari gagné ! L’hôtel est idéalement placé près de l’aéroport et du Mall del Sol ; le Malecón et le centre historique se rejoignent facilement en taxi. La piscine, entourée de transats et d’une petite terrasse ombragée, nous a fait oublier l’heure : même notre café y était meilleur. Dans le lobby, les fauteuils profonds près des baies vitrées sont parfaits pour lire ou refaire le voyage. Personnel souriant, chambres calmes : une retraite tropicale sans prise de tête.
