Sunrise Over Cusco’s Rooftop Maze

After hauling my backpack through Cusco’s altitude, Inkas Tarabamba felt like a very welcome reset. My room had a fantastic view over the terracotta rooftops and hills—sunrise turned everything gold, even the laundry lines (free entertainment!). The room was spotless and genuinely comfortable, with crisp sheets, a firm mattress, and a hot shower that stayed hot longer than expected. A tiny reading lamp beside the bed was a thoughtful touch for late-night map planning. The location on Calle Pavitos made getting around easy, though street noise occasionally joined the party. I’d happily stay again.
