Nach einem anstrengenden Arbeitsjahr war Barcelona genau das Richtige für uns. Das Renaissance liegt ideal an der Pau Claris: Casa Batlló und La Pedrera erreicht man locker zu Fuß, zur Plaça Catalunya sind es etwa zehn Minuten. Wir spazierten sogar bis ins Gotische Viertel. Morgens holten wir gegenüber warme Ensaimadas. Unser Zimmer blieb ruhig – perfekte Basis für erholsame Tage.
Après quelques jours de vadrouille en solo, j’ai adoré le Renaissance Barcelona. La piscine sur le toit est petite, mais parfaite pour piquer une tête après avoir marché toute la journée ; les transats et les coins lounge sont très agréables, surtout au coucher du soleil. Mention spéciale au petit-déjeuner : tortilla moelleuse, pain aux tomates et jus d’orange frais. J’ai aussi testé le poulpe grillé du restaurant, délicieux et bien assaisonné. L’hôtel est central, le personnel sympa, et l’ambiance détendue sans être guindée.
