5.0/5 Stars - Based on 3 Reviews

La Casa de Antonio Boutique Rooms is a small, characterful hotel in Barcelona, positioned in the central Eixample area. Its location on Carrer de Sepúlveda provides a practical base for exploring the city, with Plaça Universitat, Plaça de Catalunya and the historic centre within walking distance. The surrounding streets combine traditional architecture, local restaurants, cafés, shops and convenient urban transport connections.

The property focuses on an intimate boutique accommodation experience rather than the scale of a full-service resort. Its rooms offer a comfortable setting for travellers seeking a central address, an independent atmosphere and easy access to Barcelona’s principal points of interest. The location is suitable for cultural visits, shopping itineraries, short city breaks and business trips.

Highlights of the hotel include:

  • Central Eixample location in Barcelona
  • Walking access to Plaça Universitat and Plaça de Catalunya
  • Intimate boutique-rooms concept
  • Good connection with the historic centre and urban transport
  • Practical base for leisure and business stays

La Casa de Antonio Boutique Rooms is located in Barcelona’s Eixample district, an urban neighbourhood known for its broad avenues, elegant façades and distinctive grid layout. The address on Carrer de Sepúlveda places the hotel close to Plaça Universitat and within convenient walking distance of Plaça de Catalunya. From this central area, guests can reach the Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, the Born district and major shopping streets with relative ease. The neighbourhood also offers a wide selection of cafés, restaurants, supermarkets and everyday services.

The property presents a compact boutique hotel concept with an intimate residential feel. Rather than focusing on extensive resort facilities, it provides a practical urban accommodation experience in a central Barcelona setting. Its style is suited to travellers who value an independent stay, a well-connected location and the character of a smaller property. Public information identifies the accommodation as a collection of boutique rooms; specific room categories and detailed differences between them are not available.

Guest rooms are designed for short city stays and include the essential features expected from contemporary hotel accommodation. Publicly available descriptions indicate private bathrooms and in-room conveniences such as air conditioning, television and Wi-Fi. Exact configurations, views and accessibility characteristics may vary by room, so category-specific details are not available. The atmosphere is appropriate for visitors who plan to spend much of the day discovering Barcelona while returning to a private and centrally located base.

Gastronomy is primarily experienced through the surrounding Eixample district, where guests can find casual dining, tapas venues, coffee shops and restaurants serving a broad range of cuisines. A dedicated hotel restaurant or bar is not clearly documented. The property therefore works particularly well for travellers who prefer to explore local dining rather than remain within a large resort complex.

There is no clearly verified information about a spa, swimming pool or extensive leisure area. The main recreational advantage is the location itself, with cultural attractions, shopping, architecture and nightlife accessible across central Barcelona. The hotel can suit couples seeking a convenient city escape, solo travellers interested in urban exploration and business guests requiring a central base. Families may also consider it when room configuration and space meet their needs, although family-specific facilities are not available.

Birthday mornings, Catalan bites, and Barcelona on foot

Celebrating my birthday with a friend, we loved our stay at La Casa de Antonio Boutique Rooms. The breakfast was the real highlight: warm croissants, excellent coffee, fresh fruit, and a small tortilla de patatas that changed daily. One morning they had tomato-rubbed bread with Iberian ham—simple, delicious, and very Catalan. The staff even brought us a little birthday treat with candles. Its location on Gran Via is ideal for exploring on foot; Plaça de Catalunya was about a ten-minute stroll, and the Gothic Quarter and Eixample restaurants were easy to reach. Our room was quiet despite the central address. Would happily return.
