After a brilliant summer in Barcelona, our group of friends really enjoyed staying at Hotel Alguer Nou. The breakfast was the highlight: warm croissants, crusty bread, fresh tomato for pan con tomate, sliced peaches, and surprisingly good coffee. We often lingered over breakfast before heading out. Our room looked toward a quiet side street, with a lovely view of tiled rooftops and the Montjuïc cable-car towers catching the late-afternoon light. The room was simple but spotless, and Passatge Pérez Rodríguez felt peaceful after busy days downtown.
