Nach unseren Sommertagen in Arequipa war die Posada Del Monasterio ein wunderbar stiller Rückzugsort. Trotz der zentralen Lage hörten wir nachts kaum mehr als den Innenhofbrunnen. Das Personal begrüßte uns stets mit Namen; besonders freundlich brachte uns Rosa morgens ungefragt einen zweiten Kaffee aufs Zimmer. Wir haben uns als älteres Paar sehr umsorgt und erholt gefühlt.
Quel plaisir de poser nos valises dans cette vieille bâtisse, en plein Santa Catalina ! Le petit-déjeuner nous a franchement séduits : jus de papaye frais, pain encore tiède, œufs préparés à la demande et une confiture de tumbo délicieuse. Nous avons aussi dîné sur place : l’alpaga était tendre et le quinoa très bien assaisonné. Après nos balades, la petite piscine chauffée faisait merveille, même si mon mari y nageait plutôt comme une nouille. Les patios, fauteuils en bois et coussins colorés invitent à traîner tranquillement. Une adresse pleine de charme, parfaite pour souffler.
