About this tour
During this trip, you will have included 3 nights of accommodation in a room with private bathroom and view of the lagoon and full board (3 meals per day, 9 in total).
You will also be able to choose from the following excursions and it should be noted that the departure times and organisation of these activities depend on the season and climate.
The options are:
- 1 photographic safari by boat to different areas of the Esteros with incredible approaches to the yacarés, capybaras, marsh deer, giant otters, birds,... the excursions can be done in the morning, in the afternoon or at sunset. With a naturalist guide. Duration: 2 to 3 hours approx.
- 1 visit to the interpretation center with a walk through the native forest and watching howler monkeys, birds, corzuelas, capybaras. It is done with a park ranger guide, duration: 3 to 4 hours approx.
- 1 horse ride or car ride through the colony and surroundings getting to know the adobe ranches and the history of the town, reaching the coast of the lagoon and the Caranday palm groves. With a local guide, duration: 2 to 3 hours approx.
Throughout your stay, you will have free use of canoes and the swimming pool on the shores of the lagoon.

Nature and wildlife paradide
We styaed in a small beautiful lodge in the heart of the wetlands. Perfectly situated in lovely gardens, a fairly large pool with comfortable seating around and shade. Ibera is out of the massive touristic path and that makes it the best Argentina wild life spot. The twice daily trips were just fabulous. We saw loads of different birds, caimans and carpinhos. In fact one just had to take a trip to the end of the dock to see a caiman and capybaras. The water gardens in the Chanel's were spectacular. The food was just great. This is one place that you should not miss on a trip to Argentina. We flew to Posadas from Buenos Aires and were picked up by a driver and taken to the lodge in a 4x4 , however it was 4 hours on a rutted unmade road. If you love a quiet nature heaven then come. One of the best things to do on an argentina trip is coming to esteros de ibera!
