Chalten Camp is nestled within the native forest, between the Río de las vueltas and a huge granite wall, beyond the crowds and lights. El Pueblo is only two miles away and requires 15 minutes by car or 25 minutes on foot.
In addition to staying in the domes of Chalten Camp, you will be able to enjoy a full daily menu and guided activities ranging from bicycle tours, hiking through unexplored paths and a visit to the famous Casa Madsen Museum, where you can learn about the history of the first inhabitants of El Chaltén.

Programs include:
* ACCOMMODATION: The Domes of Chalten Camp achieve the right balance between comfort and low environmental impact. Built on stilts within the native forest, each unit is 26 square meters, housing a bedroom and a private bathroom. They are equipped with wood burning salamanders, 12 vts electricity, queen size beds, abundant bedding and cozy decoration. These geodesic structures are the starting point for a simple but memorable experience. There are three double domes and one triple, all with panoramic "windows" with views of the Fitz Roy.
* AMENITIES: You can enjoy and relax in the common spaces of the General Dome, the heart of the camp. The eighty square meters house the dining room and a living room, with unbeatable panoramic views. The ideal place to share a cup of coffee, hot chocolate or cold beer while chatting mingles with the mountain peaks of Fitz Roy.
< b> * FULL BOARD: Breakfast and dinner are served in the General Dome. The daily menu is based on traditional dishes: simple and tasty recipes that define Patagonian culture.
* EXPERIENCES and ACTIVITIES IN THE CAMP: Sleeping in a dome under the stars is an experience in itself, and provides the unique opportunity to feel and discover the true spirit of the Patagonian mountain. However, there is a wide range of excursions around the camp and El Chaltén that will allow you to discover the history, culture and fauna of this natural refuge:
• Bicycles: Enjoy and explore the trails that run along the river. The duration and level of difficulty can be adjusted according to the group.
• Birdwatching: The richness and diversity of the surrounding landscapes make it a fantastic place for bird lovers. Los Glaciares National Park has 10% of the species found in Argentina.

• Casa Madsen-Museum: Enjoy a pleasant walk around the magnificent granite wall that leads back to the city to reach the Pioneer house Madsen, where a local guide will tell you all about the life of Don Andreas and what life was like in those years.
• Hiking in the valley of the river of the turns: Enjoy a day of walking along virgin trails, enjoying the river, the mountains and the solitude of these lands outside of conventional circuits.
