Your adventure begins with the transfer from El Calafate International Airport to the El Chaltén Bus Terminal , allowing you to connect both destinations comfortably and easily.

Once in El Chaltén, you will have the opportunity to enjoy this Patagonian destination surrounded by mountains, trails and unique natural landscapes.

As part of this proposal, you will undertake the Viedma Glacier Crossing , an excursion that combines sailing and trekking in one of the most impressive sectors of Los Glaciares National Park .

The activity begins at Puerto Bahía Túnel , located about 18 km from El Chaltén. From there you will embark on a scenic boat trip across the waters of Lake Viedma , while enjoying views of the Huemul Massif and the Andes Mountains.

After approximately 40 minutes of sailing, you will arrive at Cape Horn Bay , where you will take an easy hike to a natural viewpoint on the Cape Horn Peninsula . From there, you can admire Iceberg Bay and the enormous blocks of ice floating on the lake.

Back on the boat, one of the most anticipated moments will arrive: the approach to the face of the Viedma Glacier . Its enormous ice walls, which can reach up to 40 meters in height, offer a unique natural spectacle, with shades ranging from white to deep blue.

During the navigation, a specialized guide will provide information about the formation and evolution of the glacier and its importance within the Southern Patagonian Ice Field .

At the end of the excursion, you will return to the port of Bahía Túnel and you can continue enjoying El Chaltén.
