TRIP TO THE SOUTH OF ARGENTINA:

Day 1: Buenos Aires - El Calafate.

Arrival to El Calafate, removal of the vehicle. We recommend this day to visit the Perito Moreno Glacier. At the beginning of the journey you will go around the Bahía Redonda of Lago Argentino and have the opportunity to see Isla Solitaria. You will travel through the Patagonian steppe, natural habitat of species such as guanacos, rheas, foxes, etc. Then this path offers you several interesting points: Cerro Comisión or De Los Elefantes, the Centinela River, Cerro Frias, several Patagonian ranches, among them the best known "Alice", and crossing the Mitre River you will access the Los Glaciares National Park. 

Then you will have to travel 35 km along the coast of the Brazo Rico of Lake Argentino in the midst of exuberant vegetation. You will find this abrupt passage from the steppe to the forest incredible. There are huge specimens of trees such as ñires, lengas, notros and guindos. At Curva de los Suspiros you will have the first panoramic view of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Shortly after that you will arrive at the viewpoint of the glacier.

Day 2: El Calafate - Torres del Paine National Park.

This day we invite you to visit the fantastic Torres del Paine National Park in Chile. The park is located in Region XII of Chile. It was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. It is located between the massif of the Andes and the Patagonian steppe.

Accommodation for 3 nights in Torres del Paine.

Day 3: Torres del Paine.

Day to explore the park. The park is renowned for its trails which lead to unique landscapes. This day we recommend a walk to the base of the towers. The trail starts at the Laguna Amarga nursery on a vehicle road for 7 km , until the Cerro Paine Estancia (private), then it begins to climb passing by the Chilean camp until it reaches the base of the Torres del Paine (600 m.a.s.l.).

Day 4: Torres del Paine.

Day to explore the park. This day we are going to take the opportunity to get to know another area within the park. A good option is the Grey area from where a navigation to the Grey Glacier even departs.

Day 5: Torres del Paine - El Chaltén.

This day we will return to Argentina. And we will go to the National Capital of Trekking. El Chaltén is located at the foot of Fitz Roy Mount, El Chaltén offers its visitors a unique landscape, allied to nature and the incredible sensations of peace that this generates.

Accommodation in El Chaltén for 3 nights.

 *Itinerary: The head of the trail starts at the end of San Martin Avenue, in the area of the Madsen free camp. During the first hour the slope is somewhat steep until it enters the valley of the Del Salto stream in the direction of Fitz Roy Mount. The ñires begin to be more and more numerous around the trail and approximately one hour and a half from the journey, a well-signaled natural viewpoint is accessed on a rock, with a sign that enables visitors to interpret the landscape in front of them. The path always continues up the Del Salto stream to the drainage area of the Madre e Hija Lagoons. About 4 hours after departure, we arrive first at Poincenot base camp (large free camp) and then, after crossing the Blanco River, at the Río Blanco base camp (only for climbers). From here the trail continues with an ascending slope of approximately 400 meters to Laguna de los Tres. The trail ends at the old edge of the glacier moraine, with an extraordinary view of the lake and glacier de los Tres. This is the closest view of the granite wall of Mount Fitz Roy and its outlying needles. Going down the moraine, you can continue along a path around the lake until its mouth, where you can see the desolate Sucia lake and its hanging glaciers.

Day 7: El Chaltén.

This day you can do the second most important hike in the destination. Trek to Laguna and Cerro Torre. 

*Duration: 4 hours (one way). 

*Difficulty: Easy. Difference in level: 200 meters. 

*Description: One of the classic hikes of El Chaltén that will lead you to the Adela range and the incredible Cerro Torre. 

*Itinerary: From El Chaltén there are two heads of the trail that lead to Laguna Torre. The path enters the valley of the De las Vueltas River and continues up the course of this river to its origin. Halfway up the path you will reach a natural viewpoint with an incomparable panoramic view of the Adela range and the Torre Hill and the granite needles that accompany it. The road finally crosses De Agostini base camp where it is possible to spend the night, and 15 minutes later it ends at Torre Lagoon. This lagoon usually groups on its shore numerous icebergs that come off the front of the Grande glacier.
