Navigation on Lake Argentino Everything Glaciers It is one of the few ways to get closer to some of the more distant and inaccessible glaciers. You will have the opportunity to travel comfortably within the catamaran or you can walk along the balconies and the cover, which allows the possibility of taking wonderful photos.
But navigation is not all, you will make a landing at Spegazzini Base, a piece of land in the middle of the immensity of the Lago Argentino and the Glacier Field.

A starting at 7 am, if you selected the option with transfers, we will pick you up from your hotel and We will travel in a comfortable bus to Punta Bandera Port, located 47 km from El Calafate .
A At 9:00 am we will be on an incredible boat to start the navigation through the North Arm of Lake Argentino. We cross the Devil`s Mouth towards Upsala Channel and to navigate between the large icebergs that they detach from the front of the Glacier Uppsala.
Then we enter the Spegazzini Channel and moments later we will have the first view of the Dry Glacier. We continue to navigate to the front of the Spegazzini Glacier where we will also contemplate the Heim Sur and Peineta glaciers.
During the navigation, our captain will make stops so that we can observe the ice blocks from all angles and take the best photos.
Our landing point will be Spegazzini Base to begin the visit to the area by walking through the path from the forest to the Spegazzini Shelter. This 300-meter trail is accessible and as you walk along it you stop at stations and viewpoints with views of the entire Glacier Bay. During the walk we will be making posts at different stations (Glaciology - History - Fauna and Flora) and we will have access to viewpoints.
The trail is accessible y does not represent complexity since it is done on firm ground.
Once at the Shelter, visitors will be able to enjoy the gastronomy, the shop and an incredible panoramic view from both the lounges and the outside (Deck Terrace). There will be time to have your own lunch or buy food.

This tour is a medium-difficulty trekking through a wooded path, with natural viewpoints, full of incredible views that ends at the landing point.
Once back on the boat, we will do the second part of the navigation.
Around 4:00 pm we arrived at Punta Bandera.

Wow, was für ein unglaubliches Erlebnis! Die Bootsfahrt auf dem Argentinosee war einfach atemberaubend. Die Gletscher sind so beeindruckend und die Landschaft ist wunderschön. Tangol Tours hat alles perfekt organisiert. Ich würde das absolut jedem empfehlen. Ein Muss in El Calafate!
