About this tour

The tour starts with the pick-up; of passengers from their hotel in El Calafate. In case you are not staying in an authorized hotel (airbnb, private home), the meeting point will be at the ACA Parking Lot or at the roundabout of the Secretary of Tourism.

We will leave the city in a 4x4 heading south, along the valley of the Calafate stream. After a 15 km climb, we will reach the Estancia 25 de Mayo Section, where the MTB bikes will be waiting for us.

After the technical briefing with our experienced guide, we will start the Safari Bike, a 16 km bike tour in the Reserve Natural. During this 2-hour excursion, we will see a wide variety of typical fauna of the area: guanacos, foxes, choiques, condors and eagles.

Passing through the valley of Guanacos and its viewpoint on the hills Verlika and Baguales, we will arrive at a chenque (ancient Tehuelche burial site) where we can rest while contemplating the vastness of Patagonia.

We will return to the ranch to enjoy lunch, before ending the tour with the return to the passengers` hotels.
