Nativo Experience - Lakes and Caverns it`s a midday excursion in 4x vehicle4 by the coast of Argentine Lake. Ideal for the day of arrival or departure, it has a anthropological approach, taking a journey through time over the passage of man on these lands, rediscovering the stories of the first expeditions and daring people who ventured into the unknown.
This excursion is ideal for nature and history lovers, and includes sighting of flora, fauna and caves with rock art.
In addition, you can enjoy a typical Argentine lunch or dinner!

About this tour
The excursion begins with pickup at the passengers` hotels in our 4x4 vehicles to begin a journey through the Patagonian steppe.
Among the cliffs and with views of the Andes Mountains, the excursion focuses on the first contacts of those expeditionaries with the natives, and then enter the Tehuelche world. On the shores of the lake are the caves where thousands of years ago that culture left its marks on the rock and which today lead us to its interpretation.
The excursion culminates in another cave, with a lunch or dinner that will transport us to those remote years.
We will have 3 stops:
First stop: On the shores of Lake Argentino. Interpretation of flora and landscape. Explanation of glaciology and geology.
Second stop: Punta Bonita Cliffs. Panoramic views of the lake and the Andes Mountains.
Third stop: Archaeological zone. Cave art. Lunch or dinner in a cave.
Return to El Calafate.

Regular menu: Pumpkin soup/Lamb casserole in country bread/Chocolate mousse/Drinks included.
Vegetarian menu: lamb casserole is replaced by lentil casserole in country bread.
Vegan menu: lamb casserole is replaced by lentil casserole in country bread and chocolate mousse by fruit salad.
