Enjoy three full days of activities that will allow you to get to know one of the protected areas of the province of Entre Ríos. La Aurora del Palmar is located very close to the El Palmar National Park, 45 kilometers from the city of Colón and 390 kilometers from Buenos Aires. It is a very quiet, family-friendly place with beautiful views of the palm grove.
The experience at El Aurora del Palmar includes a half-board meal plan, excursions accompanied by a specialized guide and two nights of accommodation, where you can choose according to your tastes and preferences, staying in old recycled train cars or also in the station house.
During the excursions, you will travel on horseback through different sectors of the palm grove, you will navigate the Arroyo del Palmar, you will learn about the importance of the flora and fauna of this place on a 4x4 vehicle, you will discover different rural trails by bicycle and you will take a circuit through the citrus farm, the livestock sector and the orchard organic.

* ACCOMMODATION: La Aurora has different types of accommodation, where you can choose the one that best suits your tastes and expectations.
- TRAIN CARRIAGES: Each room has its own characteristics and charm unique. All have a private bathroom, hot/cold air conditioning, independent access, and a terrace or balcony with beautiful views. Capacity for 2 to 6 people
- CASONA LA ESTACIÓN: La Casona is a colonial-style building with large galleries that has 6 independent rooms ideal for families or groups of friends. In addition, it has a 4-room apartment. All have a private bathroom, independent access, and hot/cold air conditioning.
* AMENITIES: With a large wooded area they provide natural shade to all common areas for you to enjoy the beautiful views. You can sit in the multipurpose room with Wi-Fi service where you can find children`s games such as parlor games, a ping pong table, and foosball.
You will find soccer and volleyball courts, a sales area for souvenirs, crafts, and grocery items, and also a panoramic restaurant.
After a day of exploring, you can relax in the swimming pool (not heated) and enjoy lunch at the quincho with grills exclusively for guests.
* HALF BOARD: Breakfast and dinner are included. Dinner includes a starter, main course, and dessert. All dishes are characterized by their great variety of regional cuisine, carefully prepared at home, with local products and products from Aurora del Palmar`s garden.
* EXCLUSIVE ACTIVITIES: All excursions in Aurora del Palmar are carried out in small groups. In the company of a specialized guide, you will be able to explore, get to know and learn about the incredible nature of this place.
You can choose between half-day excursions (between 1 and 2 hours), returning to the reserve for lunch.
- HORSEBACK RIDING THROUGH EL PALMAR: For approximately one hour, we will tour different sectors of the palm grove. On the way we will see its forests, a fruit orchard and we will see numerous native birds and animals.
- CANOE RIDE: We will sail for 2 hours through a practically virgin section of the Arroyo del Palmar and we will also tour the jungle in Galería. Along the ride, we will be able to see capybaras, river otters and a large number of birds.
- INTERPRETIVE SAFARI: We will arrive in a 4x4 vehicle to the Palmar Antiguo sector of the Refugio. From there, an interpretive walk takes place that allows you to discover this environment of centuries-old beauty and learn about the local fauna and flora, lasting approximately 2 hours.
- YATAY THEMATIC CIRCUIT: For 2 hours, we will learn about the secrets of the Butia Yatay palm tree and the possibilities of its sustainable artisanal and gastronomic use. In addition, we will take a tour of the germination area and visit the adult palm grove where we will have the opportunity to taste the delights of yatay.
- BICYCLE TOURING: For approximately one hour we will travel along rural trails accompanied by a guide, where we will appreciate the diversity of its flora and fauna as well as its landscape.
- PRODUCTION CIRCUIT: We will tour for one hour the citrus farm, forests, the livestock sector, the organic garden and we will learn about the traditional production activities of the Refuge.
