A relaxed Cafayate hike with thoughtful booking support, great food, and fun company

We booked this as a weekend escape and were impressed before the hike even started. The Tangol team answered our questions quickly on WhatsApp, including whether regular sneakers would work, and confirmed pickup details the night before. At La Rinconada, our guide kept the pace easy and pointed out tiny fossils in the reddish rocks. The group was small and relaxed; we ended up chatting with a couple from Brazil over lunch and sharing tasting notes. The homemade empanadas and Torrontés were a perfect finish, with no awkward waiting or rushed moments.

Clay, Chañar, and Stories in Cafayate

Celebrating my birthday in Cafayate, I joined this small-group afternoon and ended up feeling like I had met half the valley. Our guide, Lucía, knew exactly why the adobe chapel faces east and explained local rituals without turning it into a lecture. We visited a ceramic workshop, tried shaping clay, tasted homemade goat cheese, and learned how chañar syrup is made. The woven belts and patient demonstrations made it wonderfully hands-on. A memorable birthday afternoon, especially for a solo traveler abroad.

A Deliciously Hands-On Cafayate Experience With Empanadas, Local Flavors, Wine, and Warm Hospitality

Such a fun and delicious way to experience Cafayate! The empanada workshop was relaxed, hands-on, and easy to follow, even for a total beginner like me. Our host was friendly, patient, and shared great local tips while we learned how to fold the empanadas. The tasting and lunch were the perfect reward, with fresh flavors and plenty to enjoy. Everything felt authentic and well organized, and the wine pairing made it even better. I’d happily recommend this tour to anyone wanting food, culture, and a genuinely memorable afternoon.

Unforgettable Winery Experience with Great Wines and Stunning Cafayate Views

Absolutely loved my visit to Piattelli Winery with Tangol Tours! The scenery is breathtaking, and the wine tastings were simply incredible—super fresh and unique flavors I hadn’t tried before. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, making everyone feel welcome. The tour itself was really chill, no rush, and we had plenty of time to explore and enjoy. Learned a ton about local winemaking and even got to stroll through the beautiful vineyards. Highly recommend if you’re into good wine and relaxing vibes in Argentina!
