Homero Manzi, the man who transformed tango into poetry, was the one who immortalized this corner where he wrote his famous tango Sur.
8:00 - 8:30 pm: Pick up from your hotel to head to the Boedo neighborhood where Esquina Homero Manzi is located. The place was declared a Historic Building and has a room for 400 people, which was attended by great exponents of tango. The tango house is renowned both for tourism and for its gastronomy and culture; and it will be the place where you will enjoy a night you will never forget.
9:00 pm: Dinner begins. Esquina Homero Manzi features an exquisite menu of national and international dishes prepared especially for those who want to enjoy a unique gastronomy. On the menu, you can find dishes such as the following:
10:00 pm: The first chords of the bandoneon begin this show of the purest and most traditional tango. Live music performed by an instrumental orchestra (piano, double bass, guitar, bandoneon and violin) will accompany four pairs of dancers and two singers. The show revolves around compositions by Homero Manzi and also features dazzling tributes to Carlos Gardel and Astor Piazzolla, so you can enjoy the rhythm of tango and milongas.
11:30 pm: This fantastic show ends and drop-off at your downtown hotel is included.

C'était un excellent spectacle de tango. Pas seulement de belles chorégraphies mais aussi des chansons en direct interprétées par deux très bons chanteurs. Le délicieux dîner Très bien en général.

El lugar está muy bien ambientado. Posee una excelente colección de pinturas. El servicio de bar es de buena calidad, posee cafetería y pastelería de estilo europeo. Su ubicación es de fácil acceso desde cualquier punto de la ciudad, y se encuentra en un circuito de cuatro cuadras de Avenida Boedo con muchas marcas de la historia cultural de la ciudad, sobre todo en grupos de vanguardia del siglo XX, teatro y tango. Altamente recomendable.

Like many reviewers I did expect this to be a bit touristy and tacky, but nothing could further from the truth; Good food, excellent wine, all included in the price. The Tango itself was professional and really stunning. I rarely write reviews but this is not to be missed if you visit BA.
