About this tour
9:30 am: pick up from downtown hotels. We will travel in a comfortable bus, accompanied by a guide, to Capilla de Señor where the Estancia is located. Enjoy the immensity of the Argentine countryside and the hospitality of the gauchos who will receive and accompany you during the day.
11 :00 am: Don Silvano staff welcomes us in the stay with classic and tasty Argentine empanadas, accompanied by exquisite wine and juices.
11:30 am - 1:00 pm: it`s time to tour the facilities of this wonderful Estancia. The 1930 house that reflects the Victorian style is currently the Casco of the Estancia. In total, 380 hectares make up the Don Silvano Ranch. Get to know their bakery, the museum or participate in the milking of the cows with the local gauchos.
Take the opportunity to take a beautiful ride on horseback, in a carriage or tractor to get to know the estancia in a different way. It should be noted that no previous experience is necessary for the ride as it is a short group tour with tame and obedient horses.
01:00 pm - 03:00 pm : We will enjoy a typical Argentine barbecue and during lunch is going to be a complete and fun folk dance show, in which a tour of rhythms such as the zamba is carried out , cat, chacarera, malambo, malambo with boleadoras, dance with spears, boleadoras show, chamamé and tango. Encourage yourself to participate also in this presentation of dances or classes of tango!
03:30 pm: You will be impressed by the demonstration of the best Creole skills such as the ring race, horse gentleness, and herd shaking.
04:30 pm: Estancia Don Silvano offers us a delicious typical country snack: cooked mate with cakes and fried cakes.
05:00 pm: after a wonderful day in a field full of activities, we are going to return by bus to your central hotel.

vacation to Buenos Aires : GREAT success!
We are a family of 5 from New York and we visited Buenos Aires for six days during Christmas week. The best days of our trip were the days that we went on Tangol tours. We took the half day city tour and then on Christmas day took the all day Estancia Tour. We booked both tours directly thru the Tangol tour offices.. one in San Telmo and one on Florida. Julieta and Alejandro were amazing to work with. They were very patient and very helpful with us. The week we were in Buenos Aires was HOT!!! Being driven around in an air conditioned van was wonderful and relaxing. We enjoyed our city tour with Amy as our guide. She was very sweet and knowledgeable and we got a good overview of the city and it's neighborhoods. Our BEST day of the trip was the all day tour to Estancia Don Silvano. We were picked up promptly by our tour guide Santiago and our driver Marcello on Christmas morning. The van was brand new with great air conditioning and Marcello was a very safe driver. Santiago was so friendly and charming during the drive to the ranch. He told us a lot of history about Argentina and even made mate tea in the van for all of us to try. We arrived at the ranch and were greeted with empanadas and wine. Then we went for a short horse ride and then had the most delicious lunch in an air conditioned barn. The food was plentiful, varied and delicious, and the wine was flowing. The entertainment was terrific as well. Singing.. dancing.. they got everyone involved in the fun and excitement. The leader of the show knew all the different countries that the guests were from and sang a song from each country with everyone cheering him on. After lunch there was a horse riding show where the gauchos showed off their skills. Everyone had a wonderful time. At around 4pm we got back on our cool van and had a pleasant and relaxing ride back to the city and were dropped off at our hotel. Thank you Alejandro, Julietta, Santiago, Amy and Marcello : your great work made our vacation to Buenos Aires a GREAT success!
