Tango Class at La Ventana – Learn to Dance in a Historic Tango House in Buenos Aires
The experience begins at La Ventana, a restored historic tenement that preserves the essence of traditional Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed into the elegant Salón Julié , an intimate and exclusive space ideal for learning about and enjoying the authentic atmosphere of tango.
For approximately 45 minutes , a professional dance couple will guide you step-by-step in a beginner`s tango class . You`ll learn the essential fundamentals of this dance: posture, the embrace, basic steps, rhythm, and the connection between dancers. No prior experience is required, as the class is designed so that anyone can start and enjoy learning.
In addition to learning the technique, you will discover the spirit of Buenos Aires tango , understanding how this dance became one of the most important cultural traditions of Buenos Aires.
At the end of the class, you will have a few minutes to take photographs and share the moment , and the experience will conclude with the delivery of a certificate of participation , a special memento of your first steps in Argentine tango.
This activity lasts approximately one hour and takes place in a shared space, so other travelers or groups can participate.

Recomiendo mucho la clase de tango en La Ventana. Los profes súper buena onda y pacientes, aunque era la primera vez me hicieron sentir cómodo. Aprendí pasos básicos y me divertí mucho con el grupo. El ambiente es hermoso y la música en vivo te mete en clima porteño. ¡Vale lo que cuesta la experiencia!
Absolutely loved the tango class at La Ventana! The instructors made everything so fun and easy to follow, even if you have two left feet like me. The music, the vibe, and even the other folks in the group made it a night to remember. Highly recommend if you want to feel the real Buenos Aires spirit—it’s for beginners and more experienced dancers too!
Gente, sério, a aula de tango no La Ventana foi incrível! Os professores são super animados e pacientes, mesmo quem nunca dançou antes aproveita de verdade. O lugar é lindo e a energia é contagiante. Ri, me diverti e até aprendi passos que nunca imaginei! Recomendo demais pra quem quer conhecer o tango de pertinho, sem pressão e com muita diversão. Vale muito a pena, com certeza faria de novo quando voltar pra Buenos Aires!
Der Tangokurs bei La Ventana war einfach genial! Die Lehrer waren super freundlich und hatten echt Ahnung – selbst als kompletter Anfänger hab ich sofort mitgemacht und Spaß gehabt. Die Atmosphäre war entspannt und authentisch, perfekte Mischung aus Tanz, Lachen und argentinischer Kultur. Absolute Empfehlung, wenn du Buenos Aires richtig erleben willst! Franchement, cette expérience de cours de tango à La Ventana était géniale ! L’ambiance est super chaleureuse, les profs sont patients et te mettent à l’aise, même si t’as jamais tenté de danser le tango avant. J’ai kiffé apprendre des pas de base et pratiquer direct sur la piste. Le cadre est très chouette et typiquement argentin. J’ai rencontré plein de gens sympas venus du monde entier. Si tu veux vivre le vrai tango de Buenos Aires, fonce, c’est inoubliable !
