The Estancia San Ramón is located on Route 23, 30 kilometers from Bariloche. It is one of the oldest ranches in the area and covers about 25,000 hectares in the Andes mountain range.
Apart from the natural beauty of the pre-cordillera and the Patagonian steppe, you will have the opportunity to see the local flora and fauna, such as pink flamingos, black-necked swans, guanacos and condors.
This is a unique experience which will allow you to discover the typical gaucho life, while you enjoy a delicious roasted (Argentine barbecue), and you enjoy a half a day in the countryside.
Starting at 09:30 a.m., we will leave from the meeting point and head towards the Estancia San Ramón, passing through the Route 23.
Around 10 in the morning we will arrive at the La Fragua Post at Estancia San Ramón and we will be greeted with a delicious traditional breakfast. You can taste the torta fritas and homemade jam.
Then, our expert guide will give us a informative talk about horses and their security, the form of ride and the considerations to take into account during it.
After being informed, we will make a 2 hour horseback ride , within the transition forest, a typical Patagonian vegetation, and through the Patagonian steppe.
You will have the opportunity to discover Patagonia and observe its fauna, such as condors, guanacos, choiques and deers.
After enjoying our walk, we returned to the ranch to have a delicious Roast for lunch. Will be served this meal and salads. For dessert, we will have pancakes with dulce de leche and drinks available throughout lunch (wine, soda, water etc).
After lunch, we relax a little and then we will take you back to the city of Bariloche.
