Pool, stille Liegen und erholsame Abende mitten im lebhaften Quito Zentrum

Nach langen Tagen in Quito war der ruhige Innenbereich des HOTEL MERCURE unsere liebste Rückzugsmöglichkeit. Der kleine, beheizte Pool lag geschützt hinter dem Gebäude; morgens hatten wir ihn oft fast für uns allein. Besonders angenehm waren die gepolsterten Liegen zwischen den Pflanzen und der leise plätschernde Brunnen. Trotz der zentralen Lage an Roca E4-122 und Avenida Amazonas hörten wir kaum Verkehr. Abends saßen wir im Gemeinschaftsbereich, tranken Mate und lasen, ohne Musik oder Stimmengewirr. Ein nettes Detail: Die Handtücher lagen stets gefaltet in einem Holzkorb. Der Service blieb freundlich und unaufdringlich, was gut zur entspannten Atmosphäre passte.

Quito depuis notre neuvième étage

Pour notre voyage d’anniversaire entre copines, le Mercure nous a surprises. Depuis la chambre au 9e étage, on voyait les toits de Quito, le Panecillo et les montagnes au loin, surtout au coucher du soleil. La chambre était calme, avec une bouilloire et deux sachets de tisane renouvelés chaque soir. L’emplacement sur Amazonas est pratique ; pour le prix payé, le confort et la vue valent vraiment le coup.
