Terms & Conditions
Please read the terms and conditions and quality policy that govern your trip with Tangol.
Terms & Conditions
A booking is accepted and becomes final once Tangol receives the initial deposit from the Client. It is at this point that this contract between Tangol and the Client is established and formalized. By making the initial payment and providing personal information, the Client accepts these terms and conditions. The contract is between Tangol and the Client, the latter being understood as all persons included in the booking.
The person confirming the booking guarantees that they are fully authorized to act on behalf of all persons included in the booking to confirm the contracted services, and that all persons accept the corresponding terms and conditions.
To confirm a booking with Tangol, the Client must pay a deposit of 50% of the total amount due. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the service begins. If payment is not received by the deadline, Tangol reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled by the Client.
For bookings made less than 30 days before the service start date, the Client must pay the full amount of the contracted services directly.
Payments can be made by bank deposit/transfer, cash or credit card. In all cases, bank charges and any additional costs for credit card payments are the Client's responsibility.
Any changes to the original booking must be requested in writing by the person who made the original booking. Any costs or charges arising from requested changes and/or cancellations must be covered by the Client. Although Tangol is committed to making its best effort to accommodate requested changes, availability cannot be guaranteed.
The Client may cancel their booking at any time by submitting a written cancellation request. Cancellation charges are calculated from the date the cancellation is received and applied according to the table below. In addition to these cancellation charges, air services may be subject to cancellation fees of up to 100%. Air services are governed by a specific policy for each fare, which is made available to the Client at the time of booking.
| Days before the start of the trip | Cancellation penalty percentage |
|---|---|
| 30 days or more | 20% |
| 29–21 days | 30% |
| 20–15 days | 60% |
| 14–9 days | 75% |
| 8 days or less | 100% |
In the event of partial cancellations, the remaining travelers are subject to additional charges, such as single-occupancy supplements, vehicle under-occupancy fees, etc.
Although Tangol will make every effort to operate all services as described, by accepting this contract the Client acknowledges that it may be necessary to adapt the itinerary or its contents due to weather conditions or other factors beyond the company's control.
Tangol reserves the right to cancel or change any of the services at any time and replace them with other services of similar conditions and value, without any compensation to the Client, who agrees not to be adversely affected as a result of these changes.
If a significant change occurs to any of the services, the Client will be informed at the time of booking so they can give their consent. If such a significant change occurs after the service has been booked, the Client will be given the option to keep the service, choose an alternative service, or receive a full refund, unless the change results from a force-majeure event beyond Tangol's responsibility and control, such as wars, natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, civil unrest, technical problems, or flight changes or cancellations by airlines. In such force-majeure cases, where Tangol has no control over departure times and dates, Tangol is not liable for any charge or penalty from the Client.
It is the Client's responsibility to hold a valid passport, the corresponding visas, vaccinations and any other preventive medication required for the contracted services. Information on these matters is provided by Tangol in good faith and without any liability.
Anyone suffering from an illness or disability, or undergoing medical treatment, must disclose the true nature of that condition when making the booking, and make the appropriate arrangements to have the necessary medication or treatment available during the contracted service.
Failure to do so constitutes a breach of this contract and will result in that person's exclusion from the corresponding service, with no right to any refund.
Tangol does not include any type of insurance in the trips and prices published at www.tangol.com.
Nevertheless, Tangol can arrange such insurance if requested, or recommend a trusted insurance company.
If the Client has a complaint about any of the services provided, it must be reported as soon as possible to their guide or Tangol representative, in a timely manner, so that Tangol can make its best effort to resolve it immediately. Only by notifying Tangol of such issues can corrective action be taken in time. Failure to raise a complaint at the time the service is provided will result in the impossibility of any compensation from Tangol, or at least a reduced compensation. Any complaint not submitted within 30 days of the service being provided cannot be submitted afterward.
Tangol will make every effort to ensure that all airfares are correct at the time they are quoted. Airlines reserve the right to update fares without prior notice. Once a deposit has been paid for an air service, what is guaranteed is the seat, not the fare. The fare can only be guaranteed with full payment and ticket issuance.
Tickets are non-transferable. The schedules provided by Tangol are a general guide only, as they are subject to rescheduling by the airlines. Tickets reflect the schedule in effect on the day they were issued, so the Client is responsible for checking the latest updates. Tangol will make every effort to inform the Client of any changes that may occur, but is not liable for them. Reschedules made by airlines do not constitute a significant change to the travel arrangements, and therefore do not entitle the Client to cancel their services without the previously informed penalties.
Tangol is not liable for any flight delays, regardless of cause, including weather conditions, air traffic control actions, reschedules, aircraft technical issues, employee strikes, or similar reasons.
Tangol is not responsible for any cancellations and/or reschedules caused by any reason, such as weather conditions, technical problems, security issues, decisions made by the event organizer, or any other reason beyond Tangol's responsibility.
In all cases where an event is suspended once the service has already begun, the service will be considered as fully provided, giving no right to any refund to the Client, except for the event entry ticket, which the Client must keep in order to reuse it according to the event organizer's policies. Should the Client wish to use the additional transfer and guide services again, these must be paid for again at the corresponding price.
In all cases where the event is cancelled or rescheduled before the service has begun, and the Client is unable or unwilling to attend the event on the new date, the refund policy will follow the refund policy set by the event organizer.
Tangol takes responsibility for ensuring that the vacation booked by the Client is provided as described in the final version of the travel itinerary the Client receives upon arrival, and that the services provided meet a reasonable standard of quality.
Tangol acts solely as a travel agent, acting as an intermediary between the Client and the service providers, exercising all reasonable precautions, but is not responsible for damage, illness, loss, additional charges, accidental delays, or any other irregularity caused by negligent acts or omissions on the part of the companies or individuals providing the contracted services, nor for damages caused by natural disasters or other causes.
