A walkable Cusco stay with market breakfasts, family-friendly comfort, and hills kids happily conquered

Chabela Host was a great little base for our family’s first international trip. Tucked on Meloc 458, it put us within an easy walk of Plaza de Armas, San Pedro Market, and the cobbled streets leading toward Sacsayhuamán (our kids treated the hills like a video game). Breakfast was the daily highlight: warm rolls, fresh papaya, yogurt, and fluffy scrambled eggs, plus coca tea for the grown-ups. We also loved the simple quinoa soup one chilly evening. Friendly, relaxed, and wonderfully central without feeling noisy.
