Details of Uyuni Salt Flats - From Hito Cajon

DAY 1

Our services begin in the town of Hito Cajon.

We will leave at 10:00 am for Laguna Verde, on the banks of the Llicancahur Volcano. Continuation to the Valley of Dalí, Hot Springs of Chalviri and the Morning Sun Geysers. Visit to the Laguna Colorada where you will be able to appreciate the famous "James Flamencos" unique of its kind in the world, as well as the Perennial ice, in addition you will be able to appreciate the change of tones in the Lagoon until reaching reddish its color, from where it comes its name. Continuation to Mallku Cueva Villamar village

Accommodation: Hotel Jardines de Mallku Cave (3 *)

DAY 2

Excursion to discover the famous Rock Paintings and the Necropolis Fort of Tomás Lakjas. Transfer to the town of Colchani via Alota visiting the Valley of the Rocks (famous rock formations due to erosion by the wind)  the rocky formation called Italy, the lagoons Vinto and Catal, and the last visit to the cemetery of trains to see the remains of the 19th and 20th century locomotives. Arrival to Colchani and check in at your hotel After dinner, go on a night tour around the hotel. The sky in this latitude is considered like one of the most limpid of the world.

Accommodation: Hotel Palacio de Sal (3 *): the first hotel built entirely of salt in the world

DAY 3

We leave for the Great Salar, where we will visit the eyes of water, besides observing both the form of extraction, and the production of blocks of salt; Then go to Incahuasi Island (known as Isla Pescado) where you can observe the famous giant Cactus. Then, we travel northwards, to the foothills of the Thunupa volcano, to visit the Pucara Ayque where you can observe the pre-Columbian fort and the mummies of the place, to later observe the dazzling sunset on the banks of the salt mines. At convenient time transfer to Uyuni (Airport, bus station or hotel)
