Comodoro Rivadavia, Comodoro colloquially known in the region, is the most populous city in the province of Chubut and the head of the Department Escalante. It is located at the center of Patagonia in the heart of the hydrocarbon San Jorge Gulf area, which is the engine of growth of this city. Together with Neuquen, it is the most important city in the Patagonia Argentina.
