Travelling In Valle Fertil

Valle Fertil is a department of the province of San Juan, located on the eastern edge of the province, near the west central Argentina.

Its area of 6977 km2, which represents 7% of the provincial total, located in fifth place in extension. Unlike other departments in the province have the typical characteristics of Andean arid environment, the region is characterized by a mountain environment of lush vegetation and mild climate.

In the department Valle Fertil Ischigualasto Provincial Park, also known as Moon Valley, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000.3 The Reserve-purpose Valle Fertil covers part of the surface of the downtown area of the apartment.
