Details of Valle De La Luna Tour

The tour begins with the departure from hotels in San Pedro de Atacama, following the Cordillera de la Sal. Formed millions of years ago and subjected to the action of rain, wind and sun, it resulted in a variety of natural structures, stratifications and different colorations.

We will visit the Valley of the Moon, part of Los Flamencos National Reserve. Also famous for its salt sculptures known as Las Tres Marias, formed by wind erosion. The wind also caused the terrain to be similar to the lunar surface, that's where it got its name.

Then we will visit the Valley of Death, an area of great geographical beauty, with large salt formations that appear to be sculptures or works of natural art. It is also an attraction for the chance to practice sandboarding

Finally, we will end our tour at one of the highest points of the Cordillera de la Sal, watching the sunset from the Kari scenic viewpoint, later we will return to the hotels in San Pedro de Atacama.
