Rapa Nui or "Tepito Ote Henua" ("Navel of the World"), as its former inhabitants called it, is the most remote inhabited island on the planet. Being so isolated, on this island a complex culture developed, whose spirit is still alive in its inhabitants, its language, clothing, crafts and food. The Tapati festival is held every February, a two-week party whose heart is the Rapa Nui traditions.
