Your journey begins with the transfer from your hotel to Arequipa city centre, starting in the Plaza de Armas (Central Square), one of the most beautiful in Peru, and neighbor of the imposing cathedral of Arequipa, built in the seventeenth century and completely rebuilt after several earthquakes.
From there you will be transferred to the Monastery of Santa Catalina, an authentic medieval cloister built in 1579 that is still in use to this day. Then visit the Compañía de Jesús Church (1590), considered a classic example of the local baroque architecture that contains an exceptional sample of paintings and murals.
Finally, the districts of Yanahuara and Carmen Alto will be visited to have a panoramic view of the countryside of Arequipa, undoubtedly a fantastic image.
The tour ends with the return to your hotel.
