Details of Santa Susana Ranch - Gaucho Tour

Our tour to the Santa Susana Ranch begins with all travellers being picked up from their hotels. From there, we’ll head out of the city towards Los Cardales (a Buenos Aires province) with our guides and a striking panoramic view as we make our way along to the Argentine ranch. Upon arrival, we’ll be welcomed with some traditional meat empanadas, Argentinian wine and soft drinks.

Our guides will take us to see some of the most interesting parts of Santa Susana, its old-fashioned museum and beautiful church. You’ll then have the chance to ride in a horse-drawn carriage and explore the fields around the ranch.

After our tour of the ranch it’ll be time for lunch! Santa Susana cooks up a delicious 3-course meal (included in the price of the tour):

Starter: chorizo and morcilla

Main: lomo (tenderloin), bife de chorizo (sirloin)

Side salad: lettuce, tomato and onion OR carrot and beetroot OR pepper and cabbage OR potato and egg

Drinks: red and white wine, soft drinks, water, coffee

While you’re eating your lunch we’ll keep you entertained with a tango show and some traditional gaucho music and dance, which you’ll of course be invited to join. You’ll also get to see an incredible boleadoras show, in which gauchos throw traditional weapons.

After lunch we’ll begin with the proper entertainment, where the gauchos will show off some of their unique skills. To begin with, you’ll see them racing in a traditional sortija fashion, then expertly herding the animals and finally taking part in a cuadreras race; a typical gaucho competition.

To bring this unique experience to a close in the evening, you’ll be served the traditional Argentine mate, a herbal tea, and pastelitos, little pastries.

We’ll then drop you back off at your hotel after an exciting and adventurous day.

Very nice tour
We went to a gaucho farm. The service was very nice, the food well done. The show was superb and the gaucho spectacle very nice too. The company is very serious.

Great gaucho day experience
A fantastic experience on Santa Susana ranch ! The staff were very friendly and the welcoming with wine and empanadas was just the start! Activities included horse riding or carriage drawn ride with a gaucho plus a museum, gift shop and a sumptuous BBQ lunch with the best Argentina beef, chicken, sausages and blood sausages and lots of fine red malbec wine! The entertainment with tango and the Gauchos show off their horse riding skills, animal herding and a folk music show were the highlights. Thanks Tangol for making all this happen !! An amazing day tour from buenos aires that i will never forget.

a wonderful day off
The trip was really excellent. We had a great asado in the pampa together with some local and foreign people. The time at the location was absolutely great. Although I did not have any experiences in horse riding I enjoyed it a lot. I will do it again, for sure! ranch tour is a must.
