Following, we will visit Granja Arena, a place combining craft production of regional food and museum.

Details of Private City Tour In Colonia, Bodega Bernardi & Granja Arena

After being picked up at your hotel, in the port or at the bus terminal, we will head to the center of Colonia and start our private city tour.
We will first visit the area of Real de San Carlos, stopping at the chapel of San Benito and complex Mihanovich 1910.
Then, we will follow to the former hotel (now the headquarters of the Polytechnic University of Valencia), Plaza de Toros, El Fronton, el Hipodromo, Usina and the Pier .
Once we get on the west coast, we will pass along the great bay and its beaches, we will cross different suburbs and reach the center and shopping areas. There, we will enter the historic district by the Porton de Campo, the old Colonia del Sacramento.
Our private guide will give you detailed knowledge of the points of interest that have allowed that in 1995, the city was declared by UNESCO cultural heritage of mankind.

At noon, we will have time to take lunch on the  seafront, at one of the many restaurants.

Aftyer lunch, we will travel to Bernardi Winery, the region's most  traditional winery, where a sommelier will greet us. We will discover the winemaking process, how to make different wines and why this region is perfect forwine production. 

Afterwards, we will visit Granja Arena, where we will discover it peculiar colections and get to know the place's productions such as Dulce de Leche, sauces and jams.  

Then. we will return to our hotels, port or bus terminal.

COLONIA FULL DAY EXCURSION

It was one of the best thing to do in Buenos Aires.. but it´s in the other side of the La PLata River in Uruguay! But not to worry: it´s a short way to get there, and it´s worth it.

Colonia (Uruguay) is definitely a great place to visit if you are in Buenos Aires (Argentina). recommended!!
