We will depart from the passengers` hotels to embark and navigate the Rio Negro, during which we will have a panoramic view of the floating port, the regional rooms and the municipal market, a beautiful 19th century Art Nouveau building.
We will reach the most interesting point of our tour, where the encounter of the Rio Negro with the Rio Solimões takes place, which join to form the Amazon River. It is particularly remarkable because you can clearly see the union of Rio Negro, of darker waters of almost black color, with Rio Solimões, of clearer waters with a clay tone. For 6 km the waters of the two rivers flow side by side without mixing, which is due to the differences in temperature, speed and density of the water in the two rivers.
After enjoying this fascinating phenomenon, we will continue sailing to the Ecological Park of Janeiro, where you can see the famous aquatic plants and purchase indigenous crafts. We will take a break for lunch at the floating port and then take a motorized canoe trip through various channels (igarapés) of the Rio Negro and Rio Solimões (depending on the water level).
At the end, we will return to the hotels through the jungle, where we can see various types of birds in the lush Amazon.
