Details of Argentine Cooking Class Buenos Aires

You can take our Argentine Cooking Class in the morning or the evening and enjoy either a delicious lunch or dinner. Your class will take place in the Coghlan Barrio of Buenos Aires, in the kitchen of a professional chef. You’ll learn how to make traditional Argentine dishes as our chef talks you through the secrets of the recipes and the history of our local cuisine.

The class begins with a description of the ingredients you’ll use. You’ll then get started making the dishes with the help of our experienced instructor. For starter, you’ll make traditional, delicious empanadas, learning the tricks to making the perfect dough and stuffing it correctly. Your main course will be a beef casserole, made with beef, rum, red wine and mushrooms. This typical Argentine dish is made using a modern recipe, giving it a new, distinctive taste. You’ll finish the cooking section of your class with a dulce de leche and rum semifreddo, a modern dessert made with classic Argentine ingredients. There is also a vegetarian menu available if you book in advance. All ingredients and cooking utensils are included.

At the end of the class you’ll sit at the table with your host and fellow chefs to enjoy your creations, along with a glass of traditional Argentine wine, of course.

This class gives you the chance to learn how to make these delicious and traditional dishes in a fun, relaxed environment. Along with other food-lovers, this unique experience will teach you not only to make local cuisine, but also about its history and Argentine tradition.
