Details of Archaeological Tour Tucume & Sipan

The tour will begin with the pick up from your hotel, to travel to the archaeological complex of Túcume. With more than 200 hectares, the complex houses 26 monumental pyramids associated with smaller structures such as squares, walls, courtyards and canal systems, reflecting a planned growth system and the unique Lambayeque social structure. You will also visit your site museum to get a better idea of what life was like during that period.

Then you will be transferred to Lambayeque to visit the Royal Tombs Museum. Due to the discovery of the Lord of Sipán, whose importance was demonstrated in the complexity of its burial and its apparent semidivine condition, a new museum had to be created that was to the height of the find. Thus, after rescuing, investigating and restoring all the registered pieces, the Tumbas Reales Museum, unique in South America, was created.

Finally, have lunch in a typical restaurant, and then the shuttle will take you to your hotel
