Here we will find the famous Cordón del Plata, one of the most privileged areas for the practice of mountaineering due to its proximity to the city of Mendoza and the large number of hills that allow us to acclimatize before undertaking the climb to Aconcagua Hill.

In this walking, we will see a huge and varied local flora and fauna such as guanacos, condors, foxes and chinchillas. 

It will be an incredible walk surrounded by cliffs, ice and streams.

Details of Day Tours

Early in the morning, we will leave from our selected hotels towards Horcones through International Route 7. We will go to Aconcagua Park´s entrance area,  from where our path will lead us to the Horcones Lagoon.

After one trek hour, we will reach the Puente Colgante. Crossing this bridge, the Durazno Gorge begins, where we will have a break and enjoy the incredible views that this landscape gives us. 

After our rest we will continue to go into the Park for 2 hours to reach Confluencia. Here we will enjoy a delicious lunch and have time to rest. 

After we know the mountaineering world and some of its customs, we will return to Hornoces and then to our selected hotels in Mendoza.
