Details of Day Tours

At 9:30 a.m. or 3 p.m., we will pick you up at your selected hotels to start the city tour of La Rioja.

The City of La Rioja was founded during the Spanish conquest by Juan Ramirez de Velasco. This city is the capital of the homonymous province, and from which we can get to know different Parks of infinite beauty, such as the Talampaya National Park.

We will be touring the city while we know some of the most important landmarks such as the Minor Basilica San Nicolás de Bari, the Municipality, and several charming buildings. We will take a tour of the beautiful residential neighborhood, and finally, we will go to Las Padercitas.

Las Padercitas is an important set of ruins made with mud in 1630, and preserved thanks to a large stone wall that protects it. Here is the Church where San Francisco Solano managed to arrest a group of indigenous people who tried to destroy the city.

After the visit to Las Padercitas, we will be returning to our selected hotels in the city of La Rioja.
