DAY 1: Arrival in El Calafate

Upon arrival at Calafate airport or bus terminal, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in the city center.
The rest of the day is free for you to spend at your leisure
Day 2: Big Ice Trekking on the Perito Moreno Glacier*
Los Glaciares National Park
After having breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up in the morning for a trip of almost 90 minutes to the Los Glaciares National Park.
As soon as you descend from the bus, you will able to see the magnitude of Perito Moreno glacier but the real experience begins at the “Bajo de las sombras” port. There you will take a boat to cross the Rico Arm of the Argentino Lake to land 10 minutes later on the west coast.
You will rossed a part of forest and the mountain guides will lead you even closer to the glacier to put crampons on your shoes and to start the hike.
The trail runs along the southern moraine of the Perito Moreno glacier, and in just over an hour you will arrive at a spectacular viewpoint, where you will go into the ice.
Once on the glacier, the world takes on a new perspective: blue lagoons, deep cracks, enormous sinkholes, magical caves, and the unique feeling of being in the center of the glacier.
Always accompanied and instructed by expert guides who will explore with you for three and a half hours (approx) the corners of the most special glacier in the world. During the tour, the guides will help you to understand the patterns of the ice and its surroundings.
In addition, you will have half an hour for lunch on the white ice and to contemplate a place of incomparable beauty.
Once back in the moraine, walk another hour to go back the boat. It will sail very close to the south wall of the glacier before returning to port, after having enjoyed one of the most spectacular treks in the ice world.
The tour includes half hour to walk on the catwalks that are in front of the glacier.
Close the evening, after almost a total of 12 hours of this spectacular experience, you will return to your hotel in Calafate.
* The BIG ICE excursion is only for people between 18 and 50 years-old. If the passengers are younger than 18 or older that 50, the service can be replaced by "Minitrekking on the Glacier", activity that includes 90 minutes on the glacier.

Day 3: La Vueltas River Rafting
Full day trip to El Chalten from Calafate
After breakfast, the tour begins with pick up from the hotels at El Calafate at 7.30 am and, after traveling the 220 km up to the city of El Chalten, about 11 am, you will ve receive by the tour guides .
The experience begins when passengers of "Rafting El Chalten" reach the base in the village of El Chalten. After a welcome and explanation about the area in which you find yourselves, it is provided to each passenger a rafting equipment, consisting of: thermal suit, dry suit, helmet, life jacket and neoprene boots.
Once equipped, each passenger will move along with the guides to the entrance area of the river, where the talk about technical and security mesures is provided.
After practicing the technique of sculling and the security movements, the group embarks and begins the activity on the water. The first zone consists of four kilometers of calm and meandering waters with views of Fitz Roy on their back. This first part is ideal for taking contact with the raft, the river and to practice with the passengers the paddling techniques needed for the next zone. The second part advances over the canyon area. After the initial fast, we will find a series of fun and exciting rapids for 8 km. The speed of the river makes the raft shake; ups and downs in the purest waters; a tour to go with the course of nature.
By the end, you will find one last fall and an area of 2 km of calm water.
Once you are on land, a complimentary lunch box is offered.
The afternoon will be free to walk the trails of El Chalten.
The return to El Calafate is at approximately 08.30 pm.
Day 4: Kayak on Argentino Lake in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier

This experience starts with transfer from Calafate City, between 07:30 and 08:00 to go to Los Glaciares National Park. Once we get there, our team will receive us and will provide us with all the tour information. In our operations base, you will be provided with adequate clothing and the necessary equipment, while the guides give a brief safety talk, explaining the rowing techniques and use of the equipment.
Once we get ready, we will go by kayak from Témpanos Beach rowing to the glacier front, getting 600 meters close to it. We will make a stop to take unique pictures of that moment, while we learn about this incredible place. After one and half hours of kayaking we will return to the base where we will have a box lunch. You will also enjoy refreshments and hot drinks before traveling back to the city of El Calafate.

Day 5: Leaving Calafate
El Calafate
In the morning, after breakfast, you will make the check out at your hotel and you will have free time until your vehicle picks you up to drive you to the airport or the bus station.
