DAY 1 – Wednesday : QUITO – COCA – NAPO RIVER
From Quito we will take a flight to the Amazonian city of Coca , we transfer to the pier to board our motorized canoe that will take us to the Anakonda Amazon Cruises, where we will receive a warm welcome on board.
Local naturalist guides will provide a brief and informative introduction to the Ecuadorian Amazon.
After dinner, we will plunge into the depths of the Amazon jungle with a short walk to observe the nocturnal activity of the forest.
DAY 2 - THURSDAY: THE HEART OF YASUNI NATIONAL PARK (HOME OF THE LEGENDARY PINK DOLPHIN)
Early in the morning, we will transfer to the Yasuní National Park. Our guests will be delighted to know that this is home to the legendary Pink Dolphin! In this area we can also find anacondas, river turtles and several species of primates, as well as the colorful Hoatzin, a unique bird that is known locally as "Pava Hedionda ".
In the afternoon, we will canoe across a blackwater lake, home to giant otters and the magnificent, yet elusive, manatee, and have the opportunity to observe flocks of colorful birds and marvel at the organizational capacity of a colony of legionary ants called ¨leaf cutters¨.
DAY 3 - FRIDAY: KICHWA FAMILY ON BOARD ACTIVITIES
We will start the day by visiting an authentic Kichwa family located on the banks of the Napo River, where we will share with them an exceptional cultural experience.
Then we will board the Anakonda Amazon Cruises for lunch and enjoy a moment of free time on board. Those who wish can participate in cooking lessons with our chef, who will share recipes and techniques for preparing exquisite traditional Ecuadorian recipes that you can replicate at home, and our guests will be able to bring out their talents for making traditional crafts as we continue sailing upriver.
DAY 4 - SATURDAY: JUNGLE ADVENTURE OBSERVATION TOWER
Our guests can relax and enjoy the Anakonda Amazon Cruises during the morning and later disembark to explore a nearby forest on a hike where we will discover different species of plants and animals that can only be observed in the Amazon basin.
In the afternoon, we will visit an observation tower, built next to a giant ceibo tree. The perspective at the top of this tower is truly glorious, as it extends above most of the trees in the forest, offering a dream view of the immensity of the Amazon basin.
At night, we bravely venture out by canoe, searching for black alligators with the help of our flashlights.

DAY 5 – SUNDAY: RETURN
Here our adventure ends! We will enjoy the last leg on board and disembark the Anakonda Amazon Cruises to take the motorized canoe back to Coca (a hour and a half away).
