Day 1
AM: We will pick you up from Iquitos airport at your arrival, and we will transfer you comfortably to our port located in Nauta, 95 Km. approximately.
We will arrive and embark on the great cruise of Amazon Delfin 2. Our on board staff will guide you to the suite, so you can get comfortable. This amazing cruise has all the amenities, and you can spend an unforgettable trip. Our professional bartender will prepare you some delicious typical Peruvian cocktails, and you will have an overview of the Travel with the naturist guide.
Only in Season of rain , the following excursion is done in the afternoon:
PM: The first excursion of the trip will be to Pahuachiro, a good place to search monkeys and birds, and with the opportunity to see your first Sunset in the Peruvian jungle. We will return for dinner, and at night we will have another boat trip to Nauta Caño, known for its diversity of monkeys and we will navigate to the banks of the river to look for alligators and insects.
Day 2
** SEASON OF RAIN **
AM: At dawn, we will go to Yanayacu to admire the beauty of nature. We will go to Las Palmas, where we could appreciate birds and lazy bears. We will return to the cruise for a lovely breakfast. Then, we will go by boat to visit the cross of the Yanayacu and Pucate rivers, where we will visit a small community to learn about their customs, and you can swim with pink dolphins, or go kayaking. We will return to cruise.
PM: After lunch, we`ll have a excursion to Yanyaquillo, one of the most protected areas of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. You can admire beautiful pink dolphins, swimming around. We will return to the cruise, and then enjoy dinner.
At night, we will go on a safari to search alligators and birds, in Yachay. Return to the cruise, and spend the night.
** DRY SEASON * *
AM: We`ll have a good buffet breakfast, and we will go out in boat to visit Belluda Caño. Located inside the Pacaya National Reserve Samiria, you can admire the beautiful pink dolphins swimming along the river, as well as various birds. We will return to the cruise. We will have free time to enjoy inside this spectacular cruise. We will eat a delicious lunch.
PM: We will leave for our next excursion in boat to know Rio Dorado. This magical place has a unique and spectacular biodiversity, with insects, birds, butterflies, and monkeys. At dusk, we will return for dinner and rest in the comfortable rooms.
Day 3
** SEASON OF RAIN **
AM: We will visit the Amazon National Park, through from a natural walk and learn about medicinal plants, which abound in the Amazon jungle. We will return to the ship, we will have free time and lunch.
PM: Boat trip to the Forest of Palms, located in the middle of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. Surrounded by lakes, palm trees and streams, this fantastic place is one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. We will return to the cruise. Free time, dinner and overnight.
** DRY SEASON * *
AM: After breakfast, we`ll start at boat to Zapote river. Upriver, we will find prehistoric iguanas that rest under the sun, as well as listening to monkey troops among the trees, and maybe see a sloth. We return to the cruise, and we will have a well-deserved lunch.
PM: We will explore by boat the Pacaya river, in the middle from the Pacaya Samiria Reserve. It is one of the most beautiful places that you will visit, and you can swim in incredible lagoons. We will return to the cruise, free time and dinner.
Day 4
** SEASON OF RAIN **
AM: Very early, we will go to sail by boat to the Samiria River. In this place, we can fish piranhas, admire the beauty of Nature and eat a delicious breakfast as a picnic. We will return to cruise, then have lunch.
PM: We will go to the union of the rivers, to see how their colors do not mix, and it creates a unique visual spectacle. We will take skiffs, and we will visit the San Francisco community. You will meet your settlers, as well as a children`s school and a craft market, where you can collaborate with this friendly Amazon community. Then, we will go to Piranha Caño, through the Marañon River. In this beautiful stream you will find wild life, and beautiful views. We will return to the cruise for our farewell dinner.
At night, we will go on a safari to search alligators, and a diversity of insects and spiders. Enjoy your last night and live a unique adventure in the Peruvian jungle!
** DRY SEASON * *
AM: After breakfast, we will visit in speedboat Laguna Cavero, where we will explore walking through the wonderful Peruvian jungle, and we will admire incredible and a lot of fauna and flora, that abounds in the jungle. We will return to the cruise and rest.
PM: After enjoying a delicious lunch, our second excursion will be along the Yarapa River to reach Puerto Miguel, where we will visit this beautiful community and its customs. If you want, you can buy local crafts. We will return to the cruise, and then we will have a farewell dinner.
Day 5
AM: After breakfast, we`ll start our disembark at the port of Nauta, where our ground staff will assist you at the arrived. We will move to Iquitos, to visit the Center of Manatee Rescue and Rehabilitation. You can feed them, spend time with them, and see other species of rescued animals too.
At the end of the visit, we will transfer you to the Iquitos airport, to take your next flight on time.
