Half day excursions.
**Navigation to Gray Glacier: During this navigation you will have the opportunity to see up close the majesty of one of the oldest glaciers in the park “Glacier Grey”, a wall more than 40 meters high, in addition to the incredible endemic flora and fauna. The journey on board the boat takes 3 hours, check-in must be done 1 hour before in the hotel lobby. The requirement is low, but includes a walk along the playa del gray of approximately 40 minutes and a disembarkation on the glacier (subject to weather conditions). It is not suitable for people with reduced mobility)
**Salto Grande and Mirador Cuernos: After about 45 minutes by car you will arrive at the “Mirador Salto Grande” from this point you will begin a simple trekking. The landscape is dominated by endemic Patagonian flora such as “El Calafate”, “Mata Barrosa” and also a marked burned forest of Lengas and Ñirres, along cause of the fire in 2011. Once at the top you will have an impressive view of the “Lake Nordenskjöld” with the “Cuernos del Paine” behind in all its magnitude, on the left the “Paine Grande” and on the right “Almirante Nieto”. Returning along the trail you will find one of the main waterfalls in the park, the imposing and beautiful “Salto Grande”.
Low difficulty. Duration of 4 hours approximately.
**Cóndor Viewpoint: This trekking is simple, it begins with a section by vehicle for about 45 minutes to the central part of the Torres del Paine National Park, where you will start the walk, which has a maximum height of 290 meters above sea level. From this imposing place you can enjoy an incredible view of the “Paine River” and the “Lake Pehoé”, with a deep turquoise color right in front of the magnificent “Macizo Paine ”. From the top of the viewpoint it is often possible to see one of the largest birds in the world, The Condor, for being a take-off platform for young species that are taught by their parents to take flight.
Medium difficulty. Duration of 3 hours approximately.
**Chorrillo Salmones: The activity begins with a walk from the Gray hotel itself to the Río Pingo, is a generally flat path, with slight ascents and descents, always bordering the river, with beautiful views towards the “Monte Paine Grande” and the “ Cord Olguín”. After a little more than 1.5 hours of walking, you will arrive at the viewpoint of “Chorrillo de los Salmones”, the name comes from the fact that you will be able to see the salmon arriving upriver during the “spawning season ” (February and March). This is one of the sectors of parks that was not affected by the great fire of 2011, as it has a low influx of visitors, making it an ideal route for the sighting of local fauna, including the Huemul and the endemic deer which is in danger of extinction. It is a beautiful and unique tour.

**Mount Ferrier: If you want a challenging option to see the vast expanse of Torres del Paine National Park, this is the tour you are looking for. Leaving the hotel on the way to the Río Pingo, the ascent begins along the path that leads to the “Mirador Ferrier”. Once registered with the park rangers, begin to enter the beautiful forest with some specimens of Lenga trees. After 2 hours of constant ascent you arrive at the viewpoint with spectacular panoramic views of the “Glaciar Grey” and its floating icebergs, the “Rio Grey”, the “Macizo Paine”, the “Lago del Toro”, “Pingo Glacier” among many other attractions . It is a difficult path, it has a height of approximately 700 meters above sea level, and an elevation of approximately 60°. Starting at 60 masl. Once at the top there will be time to rest and admire the impressive landscape. Then the return is by the same path.
High difficulty. Duration 3 hours approximately.
**Miscellaneous Trail: This is a walk suitable for all age groups, it is a good alternative if you have a couple of hours to spare as it is only about 30 minutes by car from the hotel Grey. The View of the Massif to the north and south, also the view of the imposing Toro Lake and a great diversity of flora are some of the attractions that you can see during this walk. Approximately 4 kilometers long will also give you the chance to observe various species of birds, where eagles, caracaras and the “Andean Condor” predominate. A beautiful and smooth walk to learn the history and details of this park considered “Biosphere Reserve”.

Full Day Excursions.
**Viewpoints and Waterfalls: This activity is ideal for those who want to enjoy most of the Torres del Paine National Park in a day and without major physical effort. You start your trip towards the center of the park crossing 2 important rivers the “Río Grey” and the “Río Paine”. Throughout the day you can enjoy different viewpoints and ideal places to take pictures. After approximately 1 hour of walking, and weather conditions permitting, you can walk to the “Salto Grande” one of the most impressive waterfalls in the park, about 12 meters high. The viewpoints of the “Lake Nordenskjöld”, “Laguna Larga”, “Swan Lagoon”, the observation of diverse flora and fauna will take you to the northeast side of the park, where you will enjoy the < span style="font-family: Calibri; font-weight: bold;">“Cascada Paine” and then continue on the path “Laguna Azul” where you will have time for lunch and then return to the hotel calmly.
Low Difficulty. Duration 8 hours approximately.
**Trekking Base Torres: This is one of the must-sees in Patagonia. A journey through forests, rivers, bushes and rock to achieve one of the views most desired by all. You will arrive by vehicle to the northern sector of the park to prepare the equipment and receive prior instructions. The first 1.30 hours will be of constant ascent, with some areas of minor inclination and low vegetation to reach the “Paso de los Vientos ”, from there you start a descent of approximately 30 minutes to the “ Chilean refuge”. After a brief rest, continue through a lenga forest for approximately 1 hour, parallel to the “Río Ascensio”. The last section will be more challenging, it has a slope of about 300 meters and a terrain with rocks and some forest for the first 25 minutes. You will see that when you reach the goal you will be in front of the imposing “Torres del Paine”… Now rest, take all the pictures you want, you have time to eat something. The return to the vehicle is along the same path.
High difficulty. Duration 9 hours approximately. 22 km approx.
**Pingo Waterfall: Very early in the morning you will leave the hotel walking towards the “Río Pingo”, restricted area, you can only go with qualified guides. The trail has constant ups and downs, and the ground is usually wet and soft because it is one of the rainiest areas. For several kilometers you will see forest clearings and a different perspective of the summit that dominates the heights of “Paine Grande” , also the glaciers that are part of the ice field structure present in Torres del Paine as “Pingo and Zapata Glacier”. The imposing “Pingo Waterfall” will arrive only after almost 4 or 5 hours of walking. There you can have lunch and take that well-deserved rest, and then return to the hotel along the same path.
High difficulty. Duration approximately 10 hours. 26 km approx.
**Origins of Life: Early in the morning you will walk approximately 1 hour from the hotel to the eastern sector of the park. From there, the large number of “Guanacos” that live in numerous communities in the sector is obvious. This is an ideal tour for photography lovers, it is an easy route and for all age groups and you can see the large number of native species that coexist such as the “Cóndor”, “Grey Fox” and “Puma”, among others. You will also see the ancient “Cave Paintings” that belong to a sample of the culture of the “Aonikenk Village” (Tehuelches) who lived in these places for about 3,500 years. Finally, visit the “Sarmiento Lake”, which still houses one of the most primitive forms of life on the planet.
High difficulty. Duration 6 hours approximately.
**Lazo-Weber: From the goal sector “Laguna Verde”, which is approximately 1.5 hours away, you will find the “Estancia Lazo” this will be the starting point of the walk. It has a panoramic view of the “Macizo Paine”, without a doubt it is one of the main attractions of the excursion. For the most curious, the great variety of birds, forests, flowers and views make this trekking a beautiful learning opportunity. Once at the viewpoint of “Lago Toro”, we will have a descent through steep terrain, which makes it challenging, for that you will need poles, but don`t worry , the guide will provide you with some, you enjoy.
