Details of Travel Packages

Day 1: Patagonian Adventure

The trip can start from the following cities, Punta Arenas, El Calafate or Puerto Natales.

Our first stop will be in Puerto Natales, a small town on the banks of the "Seno de Ultima Esperanza", where we can enjoy a hearty local lunch. During the trip of approximately an hour and a half we will get to see the wildlife of the wonderful Patagonian landscapes.

We will arrive at the geodesic dome camp, located in the heart of Torres del Paine National Park. We will have the possibility to see the sunset, which is usually around 11 pm during the summer months, and admire the Patagonian steppe with its guanacos. And to end the day, in this same place we will have dinner and appreciate the privileged views of its snow-covered mountainous horizon and the majestic towers.

Day 2: Los Cuernos

We will start the day with a nutritious breakfast and later start our first day of official hiking. We head through the winding Cuernos trail to reach the beautiful Nodenskjold Lake.

During the walk we will have the opportunity to admire the great diversity of flora and fauna that there are in the park like; the fuzzy bush, false beech or southern beech, it is also very easy to see guanacos, foxes, huemules and chillas. In addition, we will have lunch enjoying the magnificent views of the Pehoé and Sarmiento lakes and the Cuernos del Paine.

After walking approximately 12 kilometers, we end up at the Los Cuernos Refuge , a cozy little mountain retreat located on the shores of Lake Nordenskjold. We will also have the possibility of opting to finish in the French Dome, about 2 kilometers from the other refuge. In both we will have incredible views of Lake Nodenskjold. Here we will spend the night and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Day 3: French Valley

After breakfast at the refuge, we will begin the challenging hike to the French Valley, which will last approximately 10 hours depending on the pace of the group. We will walk along a steep path that leads to the heart of the Paine Massif, we will meet the suspension bridge over the French river. We will be able to appreciate the fantastic views of the valley.

We continue ascending towards the upper section of the valley where we will know the extensive mass of geological formations in the valley. We also have an optional walk to the British Lookout available.

After your uphill walk, we will take a break for lunch and relax for a while. This day`s hike will end as you descend through undulating terrain until you reach the Paine Grande Refuge.

Day 4: Gray Glacier

Our day begins with breakfast at the refuge and then begins the three and a half hour walk along the shores of Lake Pehoé to the north side of Lake Gray. Before boarding the boat that will take us to see the Gray Glacier, we will enjoy a picnic lunch.

During the approximately 3-hour navigation we will have enough time to surprise us and take the best pictures of the huge Gray Glacier. We will reach the southern end of the glacier and from there we move to the geodesic dome camp.

Once we get to our camp, we can rest and enjoy a dinner with spectacular lake views.

** Due to the temperamental climate of the region, boat trips across the lake may be canceled if the minimum is not reached required of 15 passengers. If either of the two is the case, we will walk to the tourist spot. Anyway, we will have wonderful panoramic views of the glacier. We will return on foot to Paine Grande and take a catamaran to the Pudeto dock, where we will be picked up and taken to our camp.

Day 5:  Torres del Paine

We get up early, have breakfast and get ready to start the walk. Our main objective on this day is to complete the most famous trekking trail in Torres del Paine National Park.  We will walk from the camp to Hostería Las Torres to begin ascending the Ascencio Valley on the east face of the Tower. During our tour, we will see mountain ridges, we will pass through beech forests and small rivers that border the valley.

We will be presented with a great challenge in the form of a steep moraine, that will take us to that iconic view of the base of the towers: three giant granite monoliths. Finally the towers with the lake below become visible, with these impressive views we will have lunch and enjoy this beautiful place.

We will begin to descend along the same path to through the Ascencio Valley. After 9 hours of walking we will return to the camp to enjoy a well-deserved dinner.

Day 6: The eastern lakes

After breakfast, we will start a quiet journey where a transport will take us to the Blue Lagoon, passing through Cañadón Macho, home to many guanacos and wild rheas. We will stop to admire the views of the Patagonian steppe and the towers from a different perspective.

In Laguna Azul, we will walk to the viewpoint where we will enjoy both a beautiful view of the lagoon as of the granite towers. We will have free time for lunch, then we will go to the north shore of Lake Sarmiento where the Fauna trail begins. As we walk we will see an impressive variety of Patagonian fauna including ñandús, foxes, guanacos and perhaps the occasional pumas print.

We will pass by the enchanting Goic lagoon and after approximately 5 km of walking, we will arrive at the Laguna Amarga ranger station, where we will be picked up and taken back to the camp to celebrate our farewell dinner.

Day 7: Torres del Paine

We will have breakfast and then we will board a vehicle that will take us back to Punta Arenas. During the trip we will enjoy the views of Chilean Patagonia and a box lunch. We will arrive in time to take the afternoon flight to Santiago or we will also have the opportunity to take a vehicle to the border to continue your trip to El Calafate.
