Gramado city has a strong influence from the German colonization, even in its beers, since they apply the German purity law, established in 1516, which is used to make this drink with only 4 ingredients: pure water, malt, hops and yeast.
On Saturdays this tour includes visits to 3 craft breweries: Gram Bier, Kraustinbier and Rasen Bier Breweries. On Tuesdays and Thursdays the tour includes a visit to Gram Bier, Rasen Bier and Zacaria Sausage House.
We will leave the hotel towards our first stop at Gram Bier where we will taste 3 types of beers ( they produce 15 types of beer and the tasting changes every day ).When our second stop, Kraustinbier, we will try a beverage of the finest quality and purity. These 4 beers are: Apa, Weiss, Pilsen and a seasonal beer ( On Tuesdays and Thursdays we will not visit the Kraustinbier brewery, we will visit the Zacaria Sausage House, since 1971 Seu Zacaria`s family carries the tradition of producing a wide variety of colonial and artisanal products such as pork sausage, tenderloin, salami and many others).
At our last stop, we will get to know the Rasen Bier Brewery and taste its purest craft drinks of the region. There, we will taste 5 types of beers: Apa, Pilsen, Stout, Dunkel e Weiss.
You will have the chance to learn about the history of the Beer and everything about the making process of its production through a guided tour. Where you will see how the malt is weighed and ground, the must is boiled, how the hops are added and even how the barrels are filled. We will finish the visit with a very fine tasting with tips on how to perfectly harmonize each type of drink with the different dishes flavours.
