DAY 1
We begin with the pick up from the hotels in the city center at 08:30 Hrs. We leave Ushuaia heading east and towards the coast of the Beagle Channel, where we will arrive around 10:30 am. There we are going to do one of our most active full-day excursions in Tierra del Fuego. During the first part of this day we will go for a ride in our minibus and canoes along the Lashifashaj River to enter the Beagle Channel and we will continue by sea to reach the Harberton Estancia, around 12:30 Hrs.
Arrived at the ranch, we will leave in a motor boat in a navigation that will allow us to see penguins on an island. Shortly after, we will continue sailing to go hiking in one of the wildest and most beautiful places in the Beagle Channel: Gable Island, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch. On the way back from the stay, we will change vehicles.
The second part of the day begins at 5:00 p.m. Hrs, and takes us beyond the Andes Mountains, on a journey through the forest and Lake Fagnano. We will spend the night in our refuge located on the coast of this 100 km long lake, enjoying a magnificent view. At 8:30 p.m. dinner will be served, and then you can rest to replenish your energy.
DAY 2
Our day starts early, with breakfast served at 08:00 Hrs. Then, at 09:00 Hrs, we leave for Lake Yehuin, behind the northern shore of Lake Fagnano where we arrive after 2 hours of travel. We will make a visit to Tolhuin and we will enter an area of change of environment, where the steppe begins to be seen between the sub-Antarctic forest. In the area of the ranches, we will see many birds and guanacos on our 3-hour walk through the Corazon de la Isla Provincial Park. At 12:30 Hrs we make a stop for lunch, near the source of the Indio River. In the afternoon, at 1:30 p.m., we will ascend to Cerro Cabras in a hard walk of almost 4 hours, which will reward us with an intact and infinite landscape: meadows, mallines, beaver dams, lakes and lagoons , horizon and mountains.
After the descent, we will return to our vehicles, where a snack awaits us, and then we return to Ushuaia towards the end of the late.
