At least 2 passengers are needed to confirm departure. To leave with the Andes Truck, at least 8 passengers are needed, if they are less, the 4x4 excursion will be carried out with the same services.

Details of Day Tours

At approximately 8 Hrs we will leave from our selected hotels to go to the Villavicencio Natural Reserve. Here we will be visiting some sites of this beautiful protected area, enjoying areas impossible to transit with other types of vehicles.

Once we arrive at the hostel, we will talk about the route to be taken, and they will give us the security elements. Then we`ll get on the truck to start our adventure!

We will make our tour in the 4x4 truck along a cornice road. Our first stop will be at El Balcón, from where we can observe a huge crack of 80 meters high. We will continue towards Manto de Cobre, a former gold and silver mining operation in the late 19th century.

Here we will descend from the truck and do a small trekking where we can make a sighting of native flora and fauna. Here we can appreciate guanacos, foxes, hares, ferrets, cuises, rheas and even eagles, condors or falcons among others.

At noon we will return to the Parador and have time for lunch (lunch not included). In the afternoon we will take a guided tour of the Hotel Villavicencio, where we will learn more about the place and its impact in the area.

Around 5:00 pm we will be returning from the protected area to arrive at approximately 6:00 pm at our selected hotels in Mendoza capital.
