We will be picked up at our hotels in Peñon downtown. Next, we will start the journey on a off-road 75 km track in a 4x4 vehicle until we reach the Galán Volcano.
We will visit the Cavi lagoon where we`ll find some of the flamingos. The quantity of minerals just like arsenic and saltpeter in there, makes it a less habitable place for them.
We will continue our road towards Laguna Grande where the colorado foxes and the vicunas inhabit and approximately 19.000 flamingos of 3 different species such as jamesi, andean and chilean, during september and april, later on, they emigrate to other lagoons located in the province of Córdoba and Santa Fé.
Meanwhile, we will observe the "peñones", a huge formation of rocks with an outstanding elevation of 4.300 famsl. Next, we will stop at the sightseeing of the Galán Volcano with a 4.800 famsl, from where we can observe the impressive crater of it with a diameter of 35km, known as the biggest in the world.
After that, we will find the Laguna del Pabellón and Laguna del Diamante, a remarkable view that we can take pictures of and film too, and also watch the volcanic cracks and geysers which has a temperature of 80° C.
At the end of this trip, we will go back to el Peñón downtown, where we`ll be dropped off at our hotel.
