Located in a remote and isolated place in the south of Patagonia, Estancia La Maipú is a private reserve of 35 thousand hectares , which has an exclusive Lodge with a capacity for only 14 people.

The ranch is located between the Andes Mountains and the shores of Lake San Martín, Santa Cruz province. It offers a large number of natural attractions such as mountains, beaches on the lake and a native lenga and ñirre forest. Its strategic location will allow you to enjoy the authentic Patagonia in its purest and wildest state.

At La Maipú ranch history and nature invites you to connect with the natural environment, allowing you the closest proximity to the native fauna , you will be able to spot guanacos, foxes, hares, condors, woodpeckers, rheas and foxes.  

We invite you to enjoy nature and rest in the middle of authentic Patagonia, choosing the program you like with accommodation in the Lodge, full board and activities within the extensions of the stay where you will always be accompanied by a guide.

The excursions are divided according to the program you choose, however, each one of them will allow you to discover the Argentine Patagonia . You will be able to walk different trails to contemplate the panoramic views of the landscape and Lake San Martín, you will be able to fish with spinning rods trout and salmon, you will enjoy incredible horseback riding ideal for wildlife watching.

The fastest and most direct way to get to La Maipú is by taking a flight to El Calafate airport. From there you can hire private transfers to the ranch or rent a vehicle. You must drive about 4 hours, of which half are on RN 40 and the other half on a provincial gravel road (RP 33).

These are some of the meals that can be served during the stay at La Maipú. But it can vary considerably depending on the availability of certain foods and the season.

* BREAKFAST:
- Infusions such as tea, coffee and squeezed orange juice.

* LUNCHES: They are prepared in a Lunch-Box format to accompany the full day activities. In the event that full-day activities are not carried out, lunch can be served in the garden or in the dining room.
