At 9 AM or 4 PM, depending on the choice of the tour, the pick-up of the passengers begins in a comfortable 4 x 4 by the hotels and once they are ready, the ascent begins by the Huyliche and Calafate hills, reaching the private National Park Estancia 25 de Mayo.
En this incredible 4x4 expedition we will go to the most remote places of Deep Patagonia, leaving from the city of El Calafate to the south and reaching panning points from which we contemplate the immensity of the landscape, with a beautiful view of the Verlika and Baguales hills ;that mark the southern limit with Chile.
We will continue along the course of the Calafate stream recognizing the change of flora as we ascend until we reach the position of the Villalba family, the first settlers of this ranch. There we can observe the landscape that surrounds us while learning about the history of this family. Later, when passing through the property, we will make a small review of the rural activities that take place on the site.
Then, we get off the vehicle to do the trekking of the fossils, in which We will be able to explore and discover for 30 minutes, archaeological sites that date back to the ice age. Once immersed in the steppe, we can see different species that inhabit it while the guides tell us about them and their way of life.

Returning to the ravine, we can enjoy a delicious stew of field in the post "The Section".
After lunch or dinner, we start the return towards El Calafate.
