The tour begins at 07 AM, with the pick-up of passengers from their hotels in the center of Calafate. We will travel about 45 km along a route that will take us through the rural area, allowing us to appreciate picturesque wooden houses along the way.
Arrived at Puerto de Punta Bandera, in the Lago Argentino, we will board a modern and comfortable boat, which at approximately 08.15 AM, will leave the port behind to begin the navigation.
Crossing imposing icebergs, one begins to navigate the north arm of the Argentine lake to reach the allowed navigation limit in the Upsala channel, and thus have a panoramic view of the front of the homonymous Glacier. We will continue browsing the Upsala channel to the point of disembark at the Cristina Ranch, where we will arrive around 11.30 am.
We will stay at the Ranch for approximately six hours, during which we will visit the Museo Costumbrista, located in what used to be an old shearing shed, where they will be introduced to the history of the Ranch. After this, we will begin a small and pleasant walk, of approximately 30 minutes, to visit the Caterina River and the Chapel, to then visit the historic center of the Ranch.
Once we have visited the most important points of the Ranch, you will be able to enjoy free time for lunch and keep walking around the place.
Around 05.30 PM we will return to the boat to begin the return to the Punta Bandera Port. After disembarking, at approximately 07 PM, passengers will be taken back to their hotels, ending the tour.
