Get ready today
We will start our adventure around 08.00 am leaving from our
hotel in Puerto Varas or Puerto Montt,
we will travel for an hour along the famous Route
Panamericana to the town of Pargua,
from where we will board a ferry to navigate through the Chacao Channel , which separates the mainland
with the Isla Grande de Chiloé. During the
Sailing for approximately 45 minutes we will be able to observe sea lions, pelicans and marine birds typical of this region.
We will dock at the town of Chacao, this is one of the towns
oldest on the island, it was founded in 1567. It has a Plaza de Armas where we can appreciate the curious and picturesque
typical constructions of larch wood,
We will also visit its colorful fort and the San Antonio de Chacao Church, one of the 150 churches that
we can find it in Chiloé.
Our next
The stop will be in the City of Dalcahue,
located in front of the Quinchao Island and
that in its Costanera has a Market
Gastronomy and Crafts with
a spectacular view.
We will visit the Fair and
we will walk to theNuestra Señora De
Los Dolores, a typical Chilota construction that is part of the World Heritage Site.

After this deserved
stop, we will continue our trip to the city of Castro, Capital of the Big Island
from Chiloé, we will have enough time to take pictures in the Palafitos, which are colorful houses where
the pillars are arranged on the water.
We will also visit the
San Francisco Church in front of the
City square, declared World Heritage Site
Humanity by UNESCO, and by
last we will go to the Mercado de Castro, where
we will find traditional crafts, fresh food and a variety of
local products.
After this
beautiful visit, relax and settle in to start our return with the
beautiful background postcards by the way. You will certainly treasure these memories.
